“Hope For The Holidays” is a memorial service held annually at the Hope Memorial Site located in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens on Florence Blvd. We believe that every life has a purpose and is worth celebrating, especially during the holiday season. Make plans each year to drop by the memorial site on the Sunday following Thanksgiving between 4-5 p.m. The site will be decorated for Christmas and attendees can light a candle in memory of a child lost (this includes children of any age, from causes such as miscarriage, accident, illness, abortion, or other causes) or in honor of a child placed or received through adoption. They will also receive a Christmas ornament from Shoals Sav-A-Life to take home for their tree. We know holidays can be a difficult time as we think about the children missing from our lives and we hope that our effort to help you remember will be a comfort.
If you know of a family that has experienced the loss of a child, you or they might also consider making a donation to Shoals Sav-A-Life and placing a personalized memorial stone in their child’s honor.
